Uri Rahamim Uri Rahamim serves as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing of Hitachi Internetworking, a networking business unit of Hitachi, Ltd. Mr. Rahamim is responsible for all of Hitachi Internetworking's operations, focusing on business and worldwide sales efforts of the GR2000 gigabit router family of products, outside of Japan. Working closely with customers, he has expanded Hitachi's networking position in the APR, EMEA and North America regions to build upon Hitachi's established leadership position in Japan. He currently spearheads Hitachi Internetworking's worldwide IPv6 trials and sales efforts with significant European carrier customers, and he drives the business unit's fast-paced evaluations in leading software and network management companies in the United States.

Mr. Rahamim joined Hitachi in 1989 and has held positions of progressive responsibility within the company. Mr. Rahamim managed the group's research and development efforts in his first position with the company. In 1996, Mr. Rahamim founded Hitachi's Internetworking business unit and established the division's two-tier distribution channels of value-added resellers with Ingram Micro. Under his leadership, the business unit developed and successfully launched an innovative, world-class, first-of-its-breed workgroup Fast Ethernet/ATM/FDDI switch. Since 1999, Mr. Rahamim has provided leadership and direction to Hitachi's worldwide OEM sales and System Integrator partnerships.

Prior to his tenure with Hitachi, Mr. Rahamim held various product development and engineering management positions developing hardware and software data communications, telecommunications and internetworking systems.

Mr. Rahamim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona, California.
