CÚsar Olvera

CÚsar Olvera holds a BSc on Physics from National University of Mexico (UNAM) with a major on Electronic Instrumentation and Radiation Measurement. From 1998 to 2001 he worked in UNAM's Telecommunication Department, as Interoperability Lab manager, coordinating researches and tests on IPv6, QoS, Multicast, MPLS, etc. During that time frame, CÚsar was founder and manager of Mexico's IPv6 Project, founder of Mexican IPv6 Forum and chair of Mexico's Internet2-IPv6 WG. Since 2002 CÚsar is working in Consulintel as principal researcher participating in EU projects as Euro6IX, 6QM, 6POWER and Eurov6. There, CÚsar carries out tests and deployments on several IPv6 topics as routing, addresses assignment, IPv6 applications, PLC (Power Line Communication), QoS, Multicast, etc. Also he uses to collaborate with ETSI, IPv6 Forum, Spirent Communications, Agilent Technologies e Ixia designing and conducting Interoperability, Conformance and Performance tests on IPv6 devices. Along these he collaborates with IETF v6ops WG.
