Mr. Yim joined Allied Telesyn in 2004 and is responsible for the company's global R&D operations and leading the company's five regional development centers. With more than 25 years experience in the communications industry, Mr Yim was Vice President, Marketing and Product Development and co-founder of Turin Networks. Prior to Turin Networks, Mr Yim was chief evangelist for the unified xDSL-POTS Broadband 3GDLC product at Advanced Fiber Communications and has held management positions at Siemens and GEC-Plessey Telecommunications.

Mr Yim has extensive experience in the development carrier IP services, Access Multiplexes DSLAM, DLC, FTTx, broadband voice and packet switching and next generation Ethernet transport.

Mr. Yim holds a 1st Class Honors BEng from the University of Bradford and a Telecommunications diploma from Old Swan Technical College, England.
