Jesus D. Jimenez Re was born in Murcia in 1977. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Faculty of Computer Science of University of Murcia, Spain. Since 2003 has been working in several facets in network security, such as autopsy forensic, IPsec, VPN and network administration tasks.

Along these years, he has adquired experience in several technologies and protocols as XML, XSLT, XSD, WSD, Java, JSP, IPv6, COPS and SNMP.

Nowadays he is a PhD student in the Department of engineering of information and communication of University of Murcia. He is working as Research Engineering in IST project Euro6ix too, although he is collaborating in other IST projects as POSITIF and SEINIT.
